Stress Management

Workshops

Job related stress is estimated to cost American Companies $300 billion
annually.  It is one of the most challenging issues for businesses to
understand, address, and remedy.  Here are some current statistics:

· One million workers stay home each day due to stress related
complaints.

· 80% of workers feel stress on the job; nearly half say they need help
learning how to manage stress.

· Job stress is more strongly associated with health complaints than
financial or family problems.

· 62% of workers report they routinely end the day with job related pain.

· “Desk rage” and “phone rage” have become increasingly common
terms.

Eliminating stress entirely is not only impossible, but also unwise.  The
right amount of stress can fuel energy and creativity levels, but employees
must learn to operate at personal optimum stress levels while protecting
themselves from dangerous overstress.  It is also important to remember
that learning to manage stress is a process, not an event.  Comprehensive
HealthCare has developed an effective program for helping reduce the
effects of stress in the workplace.  It can be directed to your managerial staff
or your employees.  They can learn:

· Quick and simple ways to relax anywhere

· Techniques to change self-limiting beliefs

· Effective tools to control stress

· How to break stressful patterns

We are offering an introductory session to give you and your employees a
taste of what can be expected in the longer workshop/seminar.  It can be
done over the lunch hour or anytime you choose at a cost of $150.00 for the
first ten participants and $10.00 per person over ten if you to come to our
office. If our staff comes to your place of business, the cost is $250.00 for
the first ten participants and $10.00 per person over ten.  During this
introduction, your workers will begin to understand the effects of stress on
the body, learn a helpful stress-breaking breathing technique, and
participate in a relaxation exercise.

If you are interested in decreasing absenteeism, increasing productivity,
and building cohesiveness among your employees, call for information on
Stress Management for Real Life and to arrange a time for the introductory
session for your employees.

Stress Management for Real Life has been developed to take your
employees through three major stages of stress management.  Each stage
is a complete workshop, but builds on the skills learned in the previous
one.  These stages have been specifically designed to carry the participants
through the beginning, intermediate, and advanced skills and techniques of
stress management.
